Daly HSA (Home & School Association):

  • Established website and email notification system for the Daly parent community
  • Conceived and organized the funding and building of Daly's Outdoor Classroom
  • Conceived  and obtained PWEF grant for Outdoor Exploration Kits
  • Organized purchase of Daly's Mobile Technology Cart: 16 wireless networked laptop computers on a rolling cart with two state of the art printers, with HSA funds
  • Reorganized finances and organization between general HSA funds and 5th grade graduation activities funds
  • Instituted 3-way system of checks and balances for HSA finances

AGATE PW (Advocacy for Gifted & Talented Education):

  • Transformed AGATE from independant, outside organization to becoming an HSA, more of a partnership model with the District
  • As part of shift to becoming an HSA, oversaw rewriting of bylaws and reorganization of Board and Advisory Board
  • Worked closely with SEPTA PW and SEPTA Manhasset to share information and reveal overlapping interests, with the vision of shifting the dialogue from competing for resources to strenghthening the call for addressing all childrens' educational needs as individuals

American Association of University Women/League of Women Voters:

  • Assisted in the organization of a seminar on Education Finance Reform in New York State, with speakers Michael Rebell, of the Campaign for Fiscal Equity, and Matthew Gardner, of the Institute on Taxation and Finance
